Why take a guided trip?Let's start by considering the purpose of a guided fishing trip. First and foremost, the reason we will be going is so that YOU will have a good time and catch fish! We both know you are not on this trip to watch a guide catch fish or compete with a pro. Tips, techniques, instruction: Another major reason for taking a guided trip, for most people, is to get some new tips and techniques. Some anglers are very new and want instruction beginning with the basics. And, of course, there are seasoned fishermen and professionals who use guides to just help them get to know a lake and find out about the fishing patterns. I often work with tournament professionals who are practice fishing the lake in preparation for an upcoming tournament. |
