Toledo Bend Cottage is located on the north end of the lake, which is considered by most professional fisherman as being the premier fishing area of the lake. The majority of the tournaments are won with fish coming from this area. The cottage is approximately eighteen miles south of Logansport, Louisiana, and twenty miles east of Center, Texas, on the Texas side of the lake.

Toledo Bend Cottage is approximately a one hour drive from Shreveport, Louisiana, a forty-five minute drive from the Pendleton Bridge, three and a half hours from Dallas, Houston or Lafayette, La.
