God's Country Sportsmen's RV Park has been a dream of ours for years.

We love to bass fish and enjoy fishing the couples tournaments on Toledo Bend and Sam Rayburn Reservoirs. Frequently traveling to the lakes and paying for room accommodations is expensive: we needed to find a more cost effective way to enjoy our mini-vacations. We found that buying an RV was the way to go - and keep going as often as we wanted.

We left our bosses and jobs, hooked up our boat to the RV, and off we went... going to spend a few days in Heaven. For lots of people, that's located in East Texas, with two of the finest lakes in the country... Toledo Bend and Sam Rayburn Reservoirs, where the fish grow large and are plentiful.

We looked forward to our frequent trips to the lake: we were at our home away from home. While we enjoyed visiting different RV campgrounds, we wanted a place to keep our RV. We looked and looked, and every RV park had a waiting list. When we finally got a spot, we also found that we couldn't customize our site to make it "our space". We found that we saved money, which was great because, of course, we spent our savings on fishing tackle. (That's what we fishermen and women do, you know).

After two years, we bought a home on the lake, and decided to open an RV park.We wanted to offer others the opportunity that we didn't have, to customize a site for a home away from home, in God's Country. We are so grateful that we are able to give others this opportunity.
