Toledo Bend Fishing Report Mid Lake and South End Water Temp.~ 51* to 60* Lake Level ~ 172.33 one unit 24 hrs generating at this time 6 flood gates open 1 ft each BASS ~ Good. Start with a gambler swimblade 3/8 oz in 4' to 9' of water along creeks and ditches next to spawning areas fished on a TFO medium action rod designed by GARY LOOMIS on 30lb 8lb dia FINS windtammer in high viz pink vizable on top but not below by the fish helping you catch more fish as day warms throw a swimblade or a E2BAITS needle worm wacky style in green pumpkin in 2'to 4' . Remember to spray all your baits with Kick N Bass. BREAM ~ Slow. On worms and Berkly Power Maggots over brush on edge of creeks. CRAPPIE ~ Slow. Around brush in 6 to 20 of water on shinners and 1/16 oz. black/chartreuse colored tubes. CATFISH ~ Slow. In 18' to 22' of water on Catfish Charlie and liver around flats . WHITE BASS ~ Fair. up river the annual migration is starting but high water making it tough live crawfish working best on the river.
