Instructional Fishing

ELECTRONICS: Learn to use your electronics and understand them. This will open up a world of fishing that only a few people can do. We use Lowrance Electronics the family of HDS units and Navionics lake maps for boat lanes and bottom contour. We also use an underwater camera made by Aqua View to help understand what your SONAR screen is showing. These are all very helpful tools in locating and catching Bass.

RIGS & TECHNIQUES: We can show you how to rig and use several different techniques to catch Bass.

Guide Butch Covington:
I have fished Toledo Bend for over 38 years and have been a full time guide for the past 7 years.

I specialize in Large Mouth Bass and Crappie fishing. I do some tournament fishing on Sam Rayburn, and Scott and I are familiar with that lake also.

Guide Scott Covington:
I have been fishing on Toledo Bend for the last 28 years and guided professionally for the past 3 years. I have been doing outboard motor repair for 20 years and am Factory Trained by Mercury Marine.
