I have fished Toledo Bend since it was impounded in 1968. I was only 13 years of age and will never forget the first time I lade eyes on this tremendous lake. Every year I made several trips in the spring and summer months. When Tournament fishing was beginning to become popular, in the late seventies and early eighties, I began to participate and have had some of my best successes on Toledo Bend.

I moved here in 1989 near Converse La. In 1995 I started a part time guide business - since my work was in the oilfields in the Gulf of Mexico.

As the years progressed I became more of a tournament fisherman and became a Professional Tournament Fisherman - . First in local Team Pro tournaments. By 2000 I went to fishing Bass Master Tournaments across the South - Oklahoma, Texas, Mississippi and Louisiana. I also fished FLW Tournaments in Texas and Louisiana. Along the way I guided for other Pros on Toledo Bend and Sam Rayburn.

I retired from oilfield work in 2004 and now devote my time to guiding. If you're a novice, I'm here to teach YOU how to become a better angler. For experienced anglers, I'm here to put you "on the fish" in Toledo Bend and Sam Rayburn. I also work with Tournament Fishermen who need insight to the seasonal patterns and current conditions on Toledo Bend Lake.
We'll be fishing in a 2009 Puma Bass Cat Boat. When I started guiding I needed a boat Sponsor and was proud to receive one from Bass Cat Boats and have fished them since 1995.
